Christ, the Perfect Pattern for a Christian by Ralph Robinson

    Edited by Dr. Don Kistler
    Hardcover โ€ข 256 pages โ€ข Smyth sewn โ€ข Acid-free paper

Too often we look to other people as our role modelsโ€”but no one is more worthy of imitation than Christ Himself. In this rich collection of 13 sermons, Puritan pastor Ralph Robinson helps believers see Jesus not only as Savior, but as the perfect example to follow.

Robinson unpacks Christโ€™s character as a pattern of humility, prayer, forgiveness, patience, and compassion. With warmth and clarity, he encourages Christians to pursue Christlikeness in every part of life. This is the first reprint of Christ, the Perfect Pattern for a Christian since 1658, and includes a moving funeral sermon for Robinson by Simeon Ashe. Bound in durable hardcover, this edition is made to be shared for years to come.

    Quote from the book

    Image
It is the duty of every Christian to know and to be acquainted with the life of Christ. He that is ignorant of what Christ did cannot possibly walk as He walked. What a sad condition are they in whom, having but one copy to write after, are altogether without the knowledge thereof. (p. 6)
